Authentic Mybat USB Sync Data Cable for T-Mobile Nokia 1208 / 1661 / 1680 / 2600

I bought this cable for the Nokia 1661 in late December 2009. I received it, and after searching for drivers online with no success, I called Nokia. The specifications for the Nokia 1661 clearly show that there is actually no functional data-out port on this phone. The port that this cable fits in is a dead port (probably because the same hardware is used on other phones that do have the connection).

So, when I attempted to return this cable I was instructed to ship it back. I did so, paying for the shipping, expecting to be reimbursed. Lux Case reimbursed me for the cost of the cable, but now I am out the shipping costs, which is unacceptable because the only reason I had to pay shipping back was because this product is being sold on false pretenses.

I made clear to whomever I spoke with at Lux Case that this cable does not work with the 1661, but apparently, they haven't felt the need to change the product description.

Needless to say, I will not purchase anything from Lux Case again.

This cable does NOT work with the Nokia 1661 phone. I tried to connect my Nokia 1661 phone to my PC using this MyBat CA-101 data cable and the Nokia PC Suite 7.1 software package. Apparently, the Nokia 1661 CANNOT connect to a PC. The port on the side looks like a USB port, but it is dead.

I purchased this cable for use with Nokia 2670, and physically it does fit in the phone.

If the company is able to get back with me about a driver I will change my review. As of this time I have spent a couple of hours trying to find a driver that will work for this cable and have been unsuccessful.

Like the other reviewers here, i also need the driver that will actually work. I downloaded one from 2valor and another through windows solutions but none seem to work.

the product is great. however i would have liked to had a CDdriver come with the product. The seller offerd to help me find a driver. That is good service. shipped fast.
