If you love Shirley, the cutest child star, you will definately want this in your collection. This would make a great gift too. I enjoyed this book and the outfits are great. You can dress Shirley in the outfits that you have seen her in. Remember the pink dress? She can wear it forever. Children who are two young for Shirley's time will still enjoy this product. Dress up is always fun to play...this way you don't have to clean up all your clothes from your childs room!

If you grew up with paper dolls, like I did, you will love this one. The doll and the clothes are printed on high quality thick, glossy paper, and a cut out stand is included in the book.

You do not have to be a fan of Shirley Temple to love this book - I am not, but I do love these old fashioned children's clothes, with their ribbons and ruffles and pleats.

Great book for those interested in the history of fashion too!

This beautiful Shirley Temple paper doll and wardrobe is made so much more special because you are holding a piece of cultural history in your hands. Reprinted from a set of 1936 paper dolls, they are exquisite in color and design.

This a must for any Shirley Temple collector or fan. And if you are too young to yet know about America's favorite child star, you will be dazzled by Shirley none the less.!

I love the drawings and the color. It is so lifelike.

As most reviews state, this is a quality product. That being said, it seems to be for collectors and fans of Shirley Temple, not so much for kids. While the dolls are printed on good quality cardboard, they are not preforated as pointed out in an earlier review. They are intricate and difficult for kids to cut out. In short, if you are purchasing this item for a collection then it is well worth the cost. If you are purchasing it for a child, like I did, it is not so great.

I was thrilled when I saw these online. Then, when I opened it, I was still quite pleased.

HOWEVER, when I went to "punch out" the dolls and outfits from what is usually perforated for paper dolls, I discovered that there are NO perforations! (I'm not sure if that's the standard format, but it came as a surprise to me.)

While these are beautiful, beware that there is a LOT of very intricately detailed cutting out you must do before you will be able to let your little one play with these. For me, it was just not possible and we had to return them.

Also, the dolls are printed on a glossy cardstock, but the outfits are only printed on glossy paper. I knew they just wouldn't hold up to handling by my girls.

This was exactly as it was advertised about I was very pleased as I am with anything I purchase from Amazon.Com
