This book has 124 beautiful patterns that include florals, foliage, fruit, scrolls, and even a few animals. Designs need to be scanned, traced, or otherwise copied, as they are printed on both sides of the pages. Some patterns are simple, a few are complex, but most tend to be of intermediate difficulty to cut. I would enlarge some of the patterns and make a few smaller, but almost all of the designs can be reproduced at the sizes in the book. This is an essential book for the Victorian decorator, and is a wonderful complement to Edmund V. Gillon's book, Victorian Stencils for Design and Decoration.

I love these designs, but they're not quite ready to use. Some work and special supplies are needed. I would have been better off purchasing ready to use stencils.
