I bought this book and absolutely loved it. I use it every year with my class when we do our author study. I'm glad I purchased it, and definitely recommend it to elementary school teachers wanting to do author studies with their students.

This book is one of the best out there for helping students study authors. It's just what I was looking for. It's full of authentic activities for students to do to compare/contrast books of the same author. It was recommended in the book "How to Get Your Child to Reading", by Esme Codell. (Another great book, by an outstanding author, similar to Jim Trelease's "Read Aloud Handbook", but much better!)
