I am convinced that if Watchman Nee were alive, and he was allowed to preach in our churches, he would not be invited to come back. His message is God-centered, and God-glorifying, unlike the Christian hedonism we see that is so much of our popular culture.

Bro. Nee uses very simple language, and numerous examples from the scriptures to drive home to the Christian that in order to be a subject of the Kingdom of God, you have to be submitted to the principles that the Kingdom operates by. This is a far cry from the do-as-you-please attitude that the majority of so-called Christians have. If this book makes anything clear, it is that it is possible to do God a service, without it being His will.

Did not Jesus Himself say that "Not everyone that saith 'Lord, Lord' shall enter into the Kingdom, but he that doeth the will of my Father?"

Read this book prayerfully and allow the Holy Ghost to convict your heart, and cleanse you from all manner of rebellion. For to obey is better than sacrifice.

This book is excellent. It is just what I needed. It has made me rethink many things, from how I talk about my President and other elected officials to the way I act toward my church, to the way I drive. Submission is the key to a full christian life and it permeates all areas. Mr. Nee shows that in a great, effective way. This book is best read with it in one hand and with a Bible in the other hand. If all Christians could practice the message given here, the church would be much more effective. It humbled me in many areas. So simple but yet so deep.

This book is the only one (I've read) that so thoroughly reveals and explains God's authority, God's kingdom, and God's throne, which constitute His administration in the universe. The book clearly shows the very basic principle that God uses to regain His kingdom on the earth. God's kingdom means the domain of His authority. To submit to the authority is to submit to God Himself, because God's authority is actually God Himself. Satan's principal is to rebel and uplift himself above others, which leads to unrighteousness and lawlessness. God's principal is to humble and submit to the authority (Romans 13:1), which leads to righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Spirit, which is the reality of God's kingdom. Before Lord Jesus' second coming, "the lawlessness will be multiplied (Mathew 24:12)". This book is a must for Christ's believers to overcome this crooked and perverted generation, to consummate the last age of lawlessness, and to bring about His kingdom.

Watchman Nee has a knack for being able to make things that are very deep, very practical. In this book he lays bare the whole concept of authority as it applies not only to Christians but to the whole world at large.

This is not 'light' reading. I had to stop every couple of pages and digest what he was saying and apply it to my life. But I have never read a book that dares to deal with this subject in such a bold, clear, and uncompromising manner!

Please read it.

Watchman Nee is so original in his presentation and reflections on the Bible and the Christian life in general. This book really challenged me to accept certain patterns of authority and guidance which the church often neglects to teach. This is one of those books that I highlighted many a paragraph!

Reading Authority and Submission by Watchman Nee really has revealed why I was having issues with parenting, with God, with Work. (authority, abuse of authority, rebellion), and accepting things with the proper response (knowing who is in authority and submission to that authority). It s a really good book - It will help anyone who seeks to do God's will. It is easy to apply to all areas of life. Short at 101 pages, it is packed with the simplicity, timelessness, and truthfulness of God. No fluff or filler.

I would like to give all the glory, honour, dominion to our Heavenly FATHER for being such a Sovereign FRIEND, who other than Him, to put the keys of the kingdom in our hands (Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.), in books written by HIS friends & servants, and then to be able to order them on amazon.com. He has given people talents, which are wonderful & such a blessing. But Brother Watchmen Nee was a man after GOD's own heart for submitting to His leading & writing so many books. My Beloved family I would like to tell you that the books written by Brother Nee are not just self help books. They are not just things a man has put together from the Bible hoping to make a dollar. They are words that proceed out of the mouth of GOD (Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.") A person has to have a close relationship with our Heavenly FATHER to received such a grace to write such weapons of warfare [2Cor.10:4 "(For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)] Do you understand that Brother Nee wrote these books with the Anointing to break the yokes of bondage that are on us; not only in the natural, but in the spiritual. Where fear bind us to only tread upon things that we can see & leave the true things of our Heavenly FATHER alone in the spirit. Talents cannot allow you to walk in the supernatural. A book written about how to grow in prosperity (money) isn't it supernatural. The riches the Bible tells us of is in Matthew 6:19-20 "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:" What riches can we take that are earthly & carry to heaven with us? NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! So what Brother Nee is saying to us as we read the divine revelations of the FATHER's lips are life, the way & the truth to eternal SALVATION(JESUS)(John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."). The things we do for our Heavenly FATHER is what counts when we get to heaven. Not the things we have accumulated here while on earth. We need spiritual things to carry us through this way, this truth, this life because the GOD that we need to serve is SPIRIT & LIVING (John4:24 "God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth."). Beloved Family, we need to understand that there is no excuse as to why we don't move up in the things of GOD. We must be discipline in our efforts to seek Him diligently. We must not be slack in pursuits in HIM. There are books that are written by talents. Talents are skills or learned things people are able to do through education. But the Anointing is something that a person must be qualified in the eyes of our Heavenly FATHER to do (2Tim. 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."). We must take seriously that we have an adversary named Satan that seeketh to destroy, kill & steal from us. He is as real as our LIVING FATHER is. And Brother Nee submitted to the will of our Heavenly FATHER to set us free from the bondages that Satan attempts to keep us in. I write with a passion for all of you to passionately seek our FATHER with diligence. HE loves you & doesn't want these spiritual weapons to work against you. HE has provided you with that you need (Psalm 23:1 "[[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want.") The want here says "LACK" He has not given you any lack concerning the tools of warfare to win souls to and for HIM & to defeat the Devil & his works 2Cor.10:4 "(For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;). 1Cor. 15:57 "But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Read Beloved Family.... Read what HE has for you. Grow spiritually... Remember the church of Laodicean in Rev.3:14-22 " And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked(spiritually blind without the Gifts of the Spirit revealing the way, the truth, nor the life to you): I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire(the things which the FATHER has revealed to you in prayer while consecrated & fasting through holiness & righteousness{right standing with GOD}) , that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."

This is a must read for any practicing Christian. It will change your life.
