Not a good value but a good book!,

A lot of what this book goes through is commonsense and common knowledge. Spend some time in the search engine or in an internet forum and you can get most of this information. There is a lot of useful information though in one easy reference. However, I don't feel it's worth the price. I just feel cheated by the cost of this book for some reason. So if you have some extra money or you are too lazy to look on the internet or your local library I would definitely recommend this book. Basically, since I have the book, I can definitely make good use out of it. Would I buy it again though given a second chance? Definitely not.

A fairly good book on automotive detailing,

The book covers the spectrum of auto detailing. Estimated times for each area of detailing are included (ie. detailing tires: 15 minutes per tire). Photos are in black and white and not all of the information is up-to-date. (The information on clearcoats is limited.) Helpful hints from professional detailers are also included.

Auto Detailing-The Professional Way Rew.,
This review is from: Auto Detaliling: The Professional Way (Chilton's Total Service) (Paperback)
Good book with detailied information pertaining to auto detailing. The book is a little dated but still full of very useful information. Some of the information goes beyond what is typically done by a detailing business but is still useful for your own vehicles or a total detailing package you could offer to customers. Well written and easy to understand.

This book was "okay" but is 17 years old and therefore did not cover current detailing technology and processes. But it did help me to understand the "basics" of auto detailing. I should have been more careful to check the date of publication before buying.
