This review is from: Auto Repair Shop Safety (Spiral-bound)
I wanted to make a few minor repairs to my truck, but knew nothing of auto repair, much less safety. Hoping to avoid crippling injuries and death, I sought an introduction to pertinent safety concepts. This book satisfied my desire for a safety overview.
Workers in commercial establishments are the intended audience, but I recommend this book to any novice, including aspiring home or shade-tree mechanics. As I recall, the quality of some of the photographs and printing was a little iffy, but it did not compromise the overall value of the text. The book is plain, unpretentious, and not overlong. I remember the writing style being clear. The subject is essential, but not stimulating. Finishing the book was not fun, but compared to busted knuckles, broken bones, amputated limbs, burns, or hypoxia, this book is an easy read. Yay! Safety! |
