Good book
This book covers everything you want to know about general auto repair. There's nothing specific for individual models but every facet of repair and maintenance is covered. For general know-how, this is a good book. After having read it, I would have just bought Auto Fundamentals by Stockel to understand the car systems, and the...

Auto Service and Repair Workbook
Its a decent workbook if you are preparing for an exam. It is best if you have the Auto Mechanics Fundamentals textbook also, the two books together are a good foundation for anyone interested in learning about auto mechanics.

This book covers everything you want to know about general
auto repair. There's nothing specific for individual models but every facet of repair and maintenance is covered. For general know-how, this is a good book. After having read it, I would have just bought Auto Fundamentals by Stockel to understand the car systems, and the service manual for the car for the repair/maintenance specifics.

A great book which provides instructional information and advice for beginners to professionals. Has lots of diagrams and pictures. Stirs up interest in understanding as well as appreciating the automotive repair and service. Would be a better than basic guide and referance book to have.
