The miracle of death,
By Miles Carter (Portland, OR USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Auto-necrophilia; the----poems, book 2
Although the poems in this book (2) portray themselves as delving deep into the eternal mystery of auto-necrophilia, the actual coverage of said topic is sadly lacking. One may ask oneself - how does a dead person engage in intercourse with one's own self? Offhand, I would say that such a process is impossible. Of course, it can be done (with the right tools) but Mr. Knott does not enlighten the eager reader on this vast topic. One final note - where did Mr. Knott get his pictures for this book? The activities there preserved on photographic film are illegal in this country (except for Nevada) Is there no justice?

how can u knott adore bill?,
By Kathy (UAE) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Auto-necrophilia; the----poems, book 2
Bill knott, a man who you cannot describe let alone interpret. This book in particular i would say had to have been one of his best, with life, death, love, hate and general universe within its covers. The title iteself "auto necrophilia" hardly describes what is in the book itself. I belive, although it is difficult to understand, It should be read by everyone and each peom in itself shoul be reviewed, so that we may actually know hat is going on inside his head.. 5 stars is hardly what this book deserves.. everyone should own a copy.. everyone who wants to go beneath the surface.. |
