For skilled operators who use AutoCAD regularly, and who want to develop into power users with the expertise required to join the ranks of today's highly skilled and well-paid corporate CAD managers, AutoCAD 2002: Professional is a "must." This one-of-a-kind resource provides its readers with all of the information they need to take full advantage of AutoCAD's most complex and sophisticated tools. Concise, step-by-step explanations offer detailed instruction in how to customize AutoCAD's interface and tools, create powerful custom applications using Visual LISP and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and maximize the power of state-of-the-art AutoCAD 2002 Internet tools and features in order to succeed in an increasingly competitive and collaborative business environment. In addition to guiding readers to development of the expert-level AutoCAD skills that will allow them to optimize their software, this book also provides insight into the challenges that office managers face daily, with emphasis on engineering effective solutions for designing and implementing corporate-wide CAD standards, managing workflow, calculating the return on investment (ROI) from expenditures on AutoCAD software and training, and more!
