About the Author
Jacob Halim, P.E. is currently the Manager of Product Design for the Orange Design Company. He graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and a MSME from Stanford University. Jacob has over 25 years industry experience in mechanical design and analysis. Previously, he has worked for the 3M Company, Honeywell and Micropolis. In one recent project, he was involved in the design and building of a home use pasta making machine using 3D solid modeling and rapid prototyping technology. He has also taught Advance AutoCAD classes at MTI College and US-CAD. This is the product of Mr. Halim's experience in teaching 3D modeling using AutoCAD Designer / Mechanical Desktop.
