They don't mention in the description that this will not work with the AX7000, which doesn't have the RJ-45 port that is needed to plug this in.

This is a great, must have if you do automotive diagnostics. I have the AutoXray 6000 and the AutoXray EZ-Charge 200 Battery Tester does a complete battery, charging system, and starting tests.

Not a bad tool for about 30 dollars or so that Amazon had it for. It plugs into the RJ45 female jack on the Autoxray 6000 scanner we have and functioned to a satisfactory level. Please note that the scan tool must be updated to the latest software version first to use this add-on battery tester. The tool must also be attached to the lead posts of the battery in a tight and clean connection, or your test readings will be a mile or so off. This tool uses some type of imputed or derived method of conductance to ascertain the cold cranking ampere rating and the cranking ampere rating of the tested automotive battery. It also records the lowest and highest charging voltage of the battery being tested when the engine is cranked and started. These are the two readings that this tool provides. Also, the test readings are not storable, uploadable and printable to a computer either. I mention this because the scan tool will store and upload vehicle codes and parameters to print out with a companion software and cable from the tool to a PC. I rated it at 3 stars because it is a novelty to me, but nothing that I can give 5 stars to. For 30 or so dollars, I will keep it, but for anymore it would have been returned. Do remember to connect it tightly and correctly to the battery posts, or else you will get an odd reading of no consequence or relation to the condition of your actual battery conditions.

Works well. Because it attaches to the scanner it saves from purchasing a battery load tester.
