I have had the record for probably 15 to 20 yrs. Every song is typical Aznavour and rarely heard elsewhere. But all are good typical Charles Aznavour. Best of all, the Orchestra is the Grand Orchestre De Paul Mauriat. and as usual most of the arangements are Mauriat. Although there are only eight songs, all vocals - it is an outstanding musical experience. I am happpy to find this on CD. Paul Desbon

A beautiful CD with some rare songs by the French Artist. The album as a whole is a showcase, it reveals Aznavour's sensitivity & the unique way he plays around with material very few artists every reached. All songs are top, first rate.
UNE VIE D'AMOUR is performed 3 times, once as a solo version, also with the French singer Mireille Mathieu (A HIGHLIGHT) + the Russian version.

I've searched for this song (Un Vie d'Amour) for a minimum of three years before I finally found it on this CD! This CD contains some rare songs which you will NOT (!!!) find elsewhere - they have never been officially released. This song was sung especially for the filming of "Teheran-43" and was not released elsewhere (1981). So - it's worth it's high price! :)

My wife ordered it and gave it 5 stars as it is the type of music she likes.

Not for me as I like cowboy music, (Country Western).

Order received faster than expected from Europe.

All songs on this CD are really beautiful. My favorites are "Un Corps", Un vie d'Amour" and "Ca Passe."

On this CD, Charles Aznavour sings songs about his life and times in Paris. Aznavour puts such feeling into every song he sings and you can believe that he is singing from his heart.

Only Aznavour can sing this beautifully. He is a truly gifted entertainer.

Many of these songs are not available on his other CDs and it is worth the price.
