5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome AutoCAD reference and Training manual, July 29, 2010
The AutoCAD and its Applications book is an awesome book! I used the book when going through college and learning AutoCAD. It was so well written that I went through two of the same version as the first was worn out!! Since then I have used the book in my own classes teaching at the local community college and it has proved to be an invaluable resource. The chapters are organized in a logical progession for learning AutoCAD starting at the basics and working your way through to Advanced Topics. This is a GREAT book and I highly recommend it for learning AutoCAD there is no other match.

I am not sure why the previous reviewer thinks the book is loaded with mistakes. I have not found any problems outside of the occasional grammatical slip but what book doesn't have that? I would say take into consideration that reviewers complaints about mistakes when he obviously cannot even determine when to use the proper there, their, or they're when ranting about the book. My suggestion is if you are going to rant about mistakes in a book you should make sure that you understand when to use the proper There, their and They're.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book!, September 6, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book does a pretty good job as a reference for AutoCAD but theres almost no way somebody could sit down and read this cover to cover. Its drier than Nathaniel Hawthorne but its not meant to entertain, its made to inform and it does just that quite well when needed.
