5.0 out of 5 stars Great Reading
If you are a fan of Formula One racing, this is a "must-have".

I have a small collection of Autocurse grand prix annual from 1980 to 1997, I've just bought the 2009-2010 Edition. I can say it lived up to my expectations. The detailed coverage of each of the races is amazing, reading it is like watching the race again! It has a lot of good photos some of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Low point in Autocourse series
I have been a collector of Autocourse since 1976 and have seen and read issues back to the early 60's. This has been a true collector's series of books as they have only one limited publish run. Some of my older books are worth over $300 each. The main reason to get these books is to have a printed record of all the important stats including lap charts. All is fine...

It has a lot of good photos some of them are really fantastic.

I bought the book at the price of $34.95, now it is priced at $54.95! The price is a bit higher than other publications, usually it is worth to pay a bit more (like a 50% more) for this rather than the others. Last season was particularly exciting so the price might increase even more, my advice is to hurry up and buy it while it is still in your budget!

It is a great book with nice writing and great pictures!

5.0 out of 5 stars Always a great way to re-live the F1 Season, January 16, 2012

I have been a long time Formula One fan and I have been purchasing "Autocourse" now for over 21 years and always look forward when the new one shows up on line for purchase. I highly recommend this book because of the recap and the photography is top notch. It reminds me of the season and even though I am a long long time fan of the Ferrari F1 team, the writer is very bias and dosen't favorite one team over the other and I like that. Like I said, even though I am a hard core Ferrari fan, I did enjoy Jenson Button winning the Formula One World Championship with the Brawn Team, before he went onto to the NUMBER ONE HATED McLaren Team. Sad to see him sign with that team but he is doing better than that whinning Hamilton character for a team mate.

I have been a collector of Autocourse since 1976 and have seen and read issues back to the early 60's. This has been a true collector's series of books as they have only one limited publish run. Some of my older books are worth over $300 each. The main reason to get these books is to have a printed record of all the important stats including lap charts. All is fine here. Second is a written recap of each race with an editorial aside. I do see an editorial bias that seems to go against the facts that I find disappointing. Unfortunately the worst feature of the 2009-2010 issue is the photography. Autocourse used to be the gold standard of top motorsports photography. I don't blame the photographers as much as I blame post processing and editorial selection. Seems the images are washed out and lack vibrance and have fewer on track action shots as in the past. Even the cover seems poor as if it was enlarged from too small a file. BTW the image shown here is not the correct image that appears on the book, though it is another shot of Button is on the cover.
