1.0 out of 5 stars Kindle version very poorly formatted. October 20, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I am very glad that I downloaded a preview of this ebook before I purchased it. While the book itself appears to be quite comprehensive, the formatting and editing is inexcusably atrocious. As someone who has professionally converted printed books for the Kindle format, it appears that the publisher may have simply uploaded a PDF file and let the system auto-covert it, which I know firsthand is a recipe for disaster. Not only are there no page breaks, causing the ends and beginnings of chapters to run together, but all paragraphs are right on top of one another, leaving no spacing whatsoever. On top of that, many words have scrambled capitalization (wiTh vArioUs worDs apPearinG LikE tHis!).

I generally prefer not to leave harsh reviews, but being an important reference book for many, and costing a whopping $35.00 , I expect the publisher to provide an ebook that is readable. You should review the preview for yourself, but my advice is to steer clear of this ebook until the publisher decides to take the Kindle format, and its audience, far more seriously.

1.0 out of 5 stars Yes, Poorly Formatted May 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I agree with Mr. Banks that the Kindle version of this book is poorly formatted. Upper and lower case letters are mixed and there seems to be no breaks between chapters or paragraphs and sections. Everything runs together and is difficult to read.
