This review is from: Automata and Formal Languages: An Introduction
I would recommend this book to anyone with the thirst to learn the theory of computation. A well rounded book, it covers everything from the mathematical preliminaries to computational complexity. The ideas in the book are complex but written for a college level audience who has a minimal background in math...in other words giving it to you straight without the mathematical nonsense. Iv met the author, Dean Kelley, in person, one of the most brilliant people I have ever met. Get his book, you won't be disappointed.
