1.8 Gallon electronic fish feeder for Koi for indoor or outdoor use. This feeder comes with an outdoor 120V to 12Vac output digital timer that can be used not only to trigger the feeder up to 6 times per day, but it can also be used to power low voltage underwater lighting at time of feeding or other purpose. 50' of wire is included. Feeder power requirement is low voltage from 6 to 24V ac or dc. The feeder can feed from a split second to about 70 seconds per feed cycle. It is capable of feeding as many times as a remote timer has on-off cycles and can also be operated with any low voltage output home automation system or sprinkler timer using an available zone. The remote timer only needs to stay on long enough to cover the time of the feeder's feed cycle as pre-adjusted on the feeder by you. It immediately drops the food for that length of time as soon as the feeder receives power from the remote timer. The feeder's timer automatically resets itself after being turned off for a minimum of about 2 minutes between feed cycels. It can be easily mounted to a 2x4, 4x4, a pipe, or even hung (not supplied). Lots of ways to install it over your pond. This product is most unique due to its versatility. It can feed anything from flakes to fish sticks to pellets 1/4" in diameter. Feed fish sticks, pellets, crumbles all mixed together. Stroring and feeding flakes outdoors is not recommended. This feeder will however feed flakes very well in an indoor environment. The large black hopper holds 24 cups and each clear extension on the basic feeder (2 supplied) holds 2 cups. Everything stacks together if desired. One clear extension with large black hopper is recommended.
