Not So Good,
By Sarah (Atlanta, GA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Automatic Sensor touch-free Soap Sanitizer Dispenser (Kitchen)
I bought two of these automatic dispensers for our bathrooms because of their competitive price. But these units are not without problems. You can't choose how much soap is dispensed, and the default is a large portion of soap. However, I was able to solve this problem by dropping my hand toward the bottom of the unit when enough soap was dispensed, and this seemed to solve the problem by cutting off the dispensing mechanism earlier than usual. One of the units won't chime when chime mode is selected while the other's chime does work. After about a week, I noticed one of the units was dispensing soap when no one was around, leaving a big puddle of soap next to my sink. I investigated and found out why it does this. In the mornings when sunlight shines through the window onto the dispenser and I walk past the unit, my casted shadow actually triggers the dispenser to dispense (not cool)! I've decided to return these and get better quality automatic dispensers that work right.

This product absolutely is not worth the money--or any money.
The first unit required 8 to 9 passes to get soap to dispense if it had been sitting for more than 10 minutes. The second was "better," requiring only 3 to 4 passes before delivering soap. However, even if the seal had been adequate, there is no adjustment to the amount of soap delivered. It has a light that uselessly comes on each time the machine activates, but otherwise has not bells and whistles and is difficult to use, with poor design (too small spout for putting soap into it) and clunky feel. On the other hand, StealStreet was highly responsive to complaints promptly sending a new unit when we complained the first time (although requiring us to return the first unit at our own expense) and then offering a refund without quibble (product cost only, not the cost of shipping) when we asked for that after receiving a second defective unit.

I should have read the reviews on this product!!! This product did not dispense soap at all, no matter how many times we tried. The chimes worked but that was it. A waste of money. Do not waste your money on this product.
