An interesting book, the only one on this topic that I know.,

This review is from: Automating Specification-Based Software Testing (Paperback)
This book is a collection of articles on automated test generation, each introduced by the author. The author developed a specification-based test generation tool (T), so his knowledge in this area is extensive. The book contains 5 chapters and 3 appendices. Chapter 1, written by Poston, is about specification-based testing and how to automate it, and an object-oriented case study. Chapter 2 is a collection of 6 articles, some fairly academic. Chapter 3 on test execution is very thin, and digresses into maturity levels instead. Chapter 4 has a couple of articles on test evaluation, including an interesting description of automated test oracles. Chapter 5 is about selecting software testing tools. The appendices include a sample testing policy (useful but unrelated to the rest of the book), comparing code-based to specification-based testing by example, and a list of references for code-based testing.
