For a 1994 relased DVD, it covers the bases,

I bought this DVD expecting to see a good history of the Corvette. It covers the first few generations pretty good, but near the end it gets a little flaky on information. Also, the DVD was released in 2006, but the program was produced in 1994, making it an awfully dated item. Besides some clay model shots of the then up-and-coming C5, the program ends well before any information about the C5 arrived. If you're looking for a decent program that digs into the cars early roots, this is a pretty good deal in the realm of $5. However, do realize that it's missing a 3rd of the Corvette's generations, and it's dated appearance shows. For a hardcore Corvette collector who eats and bleeds Corvette, this may make a nice addition. Otherwise, there's better stuff out there now.

Some very cool info about the creation of vette and people behind it, was worth the few bucks. Learned a lot I didn't know about the whole testing and racing team - well done

Vintage info, but nothing about newer C5 and C6 Corvettes,

I ordered this...but I didn't pay attention to the date it was made (mid '90s). So, I was disappointed in that regard, since none of the best features were shown for modern Corvettes (C5 and C6).
Having visited the Bowling Green KY factory a few times over the years where all Corvettes are built, I can only tell you how wonderful their processes are! I recommend this video for history and "John Ratzenberger's Made in America" Season 1 for the terrific video of the wonderful building process of America's only true sportscar.
