We bought this as an addition to X9X. It's a great addition. My 2 year old loves to make a bigger car. It's awesome.

Though Automoblox can seem a bit expensive, they are well worth it. In this day of electronics and lead-tainted toys of extremely cheap quality, the Automoblox is a breath of fresh air. Very high quality construction and materials. My son loves them, can take them apart and rebuild in different ways spurring his imagination. And they travel well. My favorite toy, of many, in the house.

I purchased one of these for my 3 year old daughter. I was amazed at how sturdy this little toy car was, how well it rolled, how easy it was to take apart and put back together... The only little thing that bugged me is that the tires can only go on one way (no deep rims) I can't wait to get my daughter a couple more so that she can interchange the parts on them. I might even splurge for a couple of the full-size cars with the people. It's such a good quality toy that I don't feel like I have to worry about it falling apart...

What a great toy. It is actually amazing that this toy is educational, engaging, fun, and requires no batteries. My 2 1/2 yr. old B/G twins love these. They have the pink coupe, blue sedan, and green truck. I think I enjoy them more than they do.

This is a fabulous toy. My wife and I bought the S9 Sedan and the C9 Sportscar for my two-year old son. They are both made out of wood and rubber with very little plastic. The cars roll smoothy across hardwoods or carpet. He plays with them 45-60 minutes a day. The cars are easy to take a part and a bit more challenging (for a 2-year-old) to put back together. You can also design your own car by interchanging the pieces. This is bound to be a classsic toy.

These are great toys -- engaging for a range of ages. Not as prone to lost pieces as Lego or as difficult to construct. (The flip side is that there is less variety or freedom for imagination.)

The big issue here -- you can find these for HALF AS MUCH at Target or some similar outlet.

These Automoblox are an interesting take on wooden cars. You can take them apart and mix and match the parts with different automoblox vehicles.

So apparently I'm the one Debbie Downer on Amazon about this toy, which I find a bit strange. Maybe I got a bad one, but the fit/finish of our 2012 S9-R is a bit lacking. Rough edges where the pieces connect, mis-aligned spoiler where it's glued to the back end, and the windshield is already a bit loose and if the 2 year old turns the car over it falls out (easily fixed with a bit of nail polish to provide friction).

I understand the appeal of the cars, they are very cool and seems like they should should be fun to years to come, but for the price (I got ours for $15, which apparently was a deal) I expected much higher quality control with the manufacturing.

the pegs are Lego type connectors (great and will last a long time) and my son figured out the premise in about a minute and was happily pulling it apart and putting back together within minutes.

The build seems well thought out and sturdy, but the manufacturing seems to be en masse factory style, which is a bit of a let down.

Especially for the price of the truck/trailer set ($120? seriously?) I would seriously look at it out of box before buying.

We'll probably buy a set of replacement wheels so he has something to swap on it, but unless the quality improves, I don't see us buying another one at the boutique prices they are charging.

A great idea, very well designed, a bit poor on the manufacturing finish.

Just purchased the Mini C9 Sports Car, same issue (poor joint fits, dull blade cuts) really sad considering how cool these car designs are.

Great toy for my 5 years old. He loves playing with it and the puzzle of taking it apart and putting it back together is good for his brain.

So far, I purchased a blue sedan, a red sports car and a green pickup truck. I may have jumped the gun by purchasing these for my 15-months-old son (these are rated for age 3+), but I guess I wanted them for myself. Although my son plays with these every now and then, he does not pay as much attention to these toys as I expected, but I hope he will as he grows.

The design of these toys is very appealing, and my wife, who often does not agree with my taste, said that these toys were beautiful. The quality is good. Wooden pieces are nicely finished, and colored plastic pieces are bright and smooth.

These toy cars seem quite sturdy. They often come apart after a drop, but pieces just snap back together. I found one connection on the pickup truck to be not as strong as all others, but it is still adequate to keep the car together.

Since I have more than one of these, I can mix parts from several cars, which can be fun. I can make a vehicle longer by adding extra pieces, or mix colors of the roof and the wheels.

Overall, this is a very nice toy car that can provide years of enjoyment.
