I have read several books on engines and this one is by far one of my treasured favorites. It is very detailed and has loads of information. I personally run one of the largest national remanufactured and used engine companies [...] selling thousands of engines each year.

It is important as a leader in the industry to stay polished on my knowledge of engines, and this book has helped in so many ways. This book would be helpful for car buffs who tool around on the weekends and powerful enough for the nations best mechanics. Well worth the price!!!!

This book contains so much info its unbelievable. Everything is step-by-step and so detailed. This book is a must have!

When I received this set of books, I was downright amazed at all they cover. But the real beauty of these books are that they are not 'over your head', they explain the details so regular folks can relate and tell the hows and whys. They are set up as teaching guides so beginners can understand what's going on, after all most students would be beginners. Worth the money and highly recommended in my opinion.

Good information and overall well written. The book is has several typos and words that appear to have been spell checked into words that don't fit the text. Also found one incorrect diagram in the classroom manual so far. Other than the previously noted typo's it is a very good book and I would recommend it to anyone studying to be an automotive tech. It is also a good primer for the ASE certification test as well.
