This is a great reference book lots of updated material..I would highly recommend it if someone is looking to learn more about Automotive repair.

Recieved the book a day ahead of time, student discount, book is super informative. what else can ya ask for, will keep for future reference even after school is complete.

I bought this book for an automotive class I was in. This book contains about 74 chapters.Although each chapter can seem quite long to many students, it does cover everything from a brief history to the different parts of the car to how things work to testing to repair. This book also covers hand tools, perer tools, engin oil, shop equipment, safety, and different jobs one might get. This book is also easy to learn from using everyday language. This book was designed to be used in the shop. Although this book discusses meserments, I think it's a very good idea to Arithmetic and basic geometry skills such as angles.

I bought this book for my auto shop class I took at the Community college during my senior year of high school. I din't really need the book for class but it was great for the open book tests we had. My Auto shop teacher strongly suggested to hold on to it for future reference.

I really like this book, it's updated and it's not boring to read. I learned a lot from it.

For class or personal knowledge this book is a great resource for your automotive
needs. I would recommend buying this with a hayne's manual for your car.

Was a long time customer of Amazon prior to this final transaction. I had ordered the above titled book a week or so before Xmas for a Spring class. There was another supplier a few dollars cheaper but since I was dealing w/ Amazon and the location of the warehouse was geographically closer than the lower priced location, I chose to go w/ Amazon.

The book arrived in several days after it was ordered, not too bad considering it was a week or so before Xmas. Unfortunately, when I opened the wrapper the hard cover book had been damaged along the spine and top left corner of cover. Possibly due to shipping or maybe even damaged from warehouse, who knows.

Anyways, I immediately went to the order confirmation receipt to find out return procedure so I can get an undamaged product. After reviewing the confirmation and its' links, it was apparant that the book had come from a third party and Amazons policy was for the consumer to contact the 3rd party directly w/ regard to their return policy.

After searching for a Company website and unsuccessfully searching for an actual telephone number so I can actually talk in person I was unsuccessful and quite aggravated. I went back to Amazon's website and after a lengthy search finally come across a telephone number for Amazon. When I called, I was put throught the usual computer telephone prompts and eventually made it to an operator.

Turns out w/ all their #Amazons# back ground noise or whatever, everytime I was connected to an operator they could not hear me. After four to five attempts I called a friend to see if my phone was working correctly. They said everything was okay, so I had them call Amazon's customer service number to inquire about any other contact numbers. After some time I did get another number and tried w/ same results.

At this point I am livid!!! I tried several more times and got so fed-up I threw my phone aginst the wall!! I was going to wait until after the Holidays but was never able to get a hold of shipper/publisher and it got too close to start of class so had to keep damaged item.

At this point in time #same day as recieving damaged item# I was going to write a scathing review of Amazon but decided to not let my emotions get the better of me and chalk it up to Buyer Beware. Well, now just sitting here and reading my email, I find an email from Amazon asking for a review of the above stated product so here it is...

In closing, I would not Urinate on the Amazon Building if it were on Fire!!! You can keep your 3rd party vending practices and I'll keep my money. I know I am only one consumer but for your Company it will be one less.
