Best things in life ARE free!
Even though I'm still in the process of downloading what I've heard so far has a great sound (is it the sampling and bit rates?)! While not inaccessible to casual jazz listeners I wouldn't call it easy listening or smooth jazz. Just very pleasant to listen too with great arrangements and improv!!

Not what i expected
I love going to brunch to hear jazz while i sip on a mimosa. I love hearing jazz while at classic showboat casinos and in the elevators in the mall...but this wasn't that type of Jazz i heard on this sampler...listen and see if you have the same thoughts i do! luckily this was a free download, and you can't beat free music.

Most of these ditties are a homage to that era. I rate half 5 Star. As someone else said, a freebie no-brainer!

This is a good add to my growing jazz collection; I like the variety and overall mood. If you like to splice easy listening jazz into your listening groupings, this is a no brainer.

Very nice collection of jazz samples. I normally am a rocker, but I find jazz less distracting to listen to (tho I did catch myself playing air piano during Blues Closer) while reading my news on the computer. I think I only deleted 2 songs from this collection. The rest are "keepers". Thanks Amazon.
