A delightful read that I wished never to end. There must be a sparkle in author Mort Sobel's eyes as it is evident on every page. Some of the laughs brought me to tears of the best kind. Left me with the desire to experience Aux Trois Saisons Inn in the hands of its obviously talented proprietors, and to traipse around France using this book as a tour guide. Dentist turned inn proprietor and chef turned published author; so much skill in one person. Hope to see more from this author. -SEM

I received a surprise in the mail from a dear friend; it was "Aux Trois Saisons," a captivating book. I couldn't go to bed last night because I had to keep reading. I am savoring each page. Dr. Mort Sobel is a talented writer with a gift for using words that invite the reader to become a participant in his adventures. It is a journey that links people, cultures, cuisine. I want to meet his guests and friends, understand the nuances of the different cultures, and taste every morsel. P.T.

a light fast-moving story about starting/running a bed & breakfast in Burgundy; sprinkled with humor and great recipes, this is a great read for vacation-ideally in France!

A really enjoyed this book. It was good to learn about all the hard work involved in establishing and running a B & B in France. I appreciate the honesty of the writer in sharing both the joys and frustrations of running the B & B. While reading the book I felt as if I was following him around each day--watching, observing, and learning. The writer also shares with the reader the numerous details of doing business in France.

I heard the writer speak at a book signing and that prompted me to buy the book and read it. This resulted in me feeling like I had been having an extended conversation with the writer. I recommend the quiet style, the honesty, and the humor found in the book. I could see myself spending time in their B & B both as a guest as well as a worker in their business. Getting both of these perspective was very enlightening. This is a very good read!
