5.0 out of 5 stars 7.1 and HDMI = GOOD!
The card takes HDMI video from my HTPC, injects sound, and sends it back out to my 7.1 amp. It's done a flawless job, and the sound quality is excellent.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cracking and popping makes a 3 star review.
If it wasn't for the annoying and harmful cracking and popping this card makes I would have definetely given this extraordinary card a 5 star revies. This is as close as an audiophile card you will find but the cracking and popping is present whenever you raise the volume, change to another song, open a internet browser or watch a movie. I learned to live with that...

This review is from: Auzentech AZT-XFHTHD X-Fi HomeTheater HD Sound Card (Personal Computers)
I learned to live with that incovenience because nothing in the market rivals that good sound I was getting until I bought my MM-1 speakers and used their own DAC. Anyway, it is a real shame and the guilt is not only on Auzentech side but it is a major fault from almost all X-FI sound cards made by Creative.

1.0 out of 5 stars crackling nightmare, December 8, 2011
This review is from: Auzentech AZT-XFHTHD X-Fi HomeTheater HD Sound Card (Personal Computers)
Azuzentech is not an honorable or reliable company. I bought a Bravura card from them still within warranty but just because I lost the warranty card (even though I can prove I bought it and where) they only pretended by email like they might help me, but instead they've been ignoring me. This card too clearly has the same issue, just read what the other reviewer said. Do not trust these idiots till they stop being thieves and liars. Let them go bankrupt.
