This watch is sheer class and wonderfully traditional and has the appearance of a far more expensive timepiece. It is not only an elegant accompaniment to a gentleman's attire, it keeps very good time. The face with Roman numerals is easy to read and esthetically satisfying. It is indeed a pleasure to depress the button and have the case gently open when one wishes to consult the time. It is gesture far more gracious than the nervous check of the wrist watch. Indeed, few products in this price range give one such a delight in owning.

I got this as a Christmas present for my dad a couple of years ago, and he still uses it to this day. That is a high compliment from him, as it is difficult to shop for someone who already has everything.

As a colonial costumed tour guide in Annapolis Maryland I need a time piece that is a bit more 18th century looking than a digital wrist watch. This pocket watch is perfect! I get comments and questions about it from virtually every tour I lead, all very positive. I can read the time without reading glasses and have not missed a deadline yet. It is a fun appliance that completes the outfit in a most functional way.

The watch works fine, but the quality really matches the low price. The "gold" covering of the metal wears off quickly, making it look even cheaper. Invest a bit more for higher quality.

It would have been excellent if the holding ring was above the piece instead of sideward. Other than that the piece is a diamond.

This brass colored, roman numeral pocket watch and chain was just the thing I was looking for! Although it's an excessive furbelow to wear in these modern times, the sentimental value of this timepiece is a priceless addition to my collection of "Old World" things.
