I've suffered from significant hair thinning in the past two years and being a female in my early twenties, I naturally became very self-conscious. I used to lose handfuls of hair after washing with shampoo and conditioner but since my hair tends to get oily very quickly, I had to wash it everyday. After adapting a strict vitamin regime and cutting down stress, the extreme shedding subsided...but for some reason, no matter what high quality strengthening/organic/expensive product I used, my hair was so limp, thin, and grew so slowly that I kept it short, thinking I'll never have long yet healthy looking hair again.

I have read that DHT and sebum buildup are significant contributors to hair shedding and one of the ingredients -- saw palmetto, is a natural dht inhibitor. Oily scalps are also prone to hair loss/thinning so I needed a gentle but effective cleansing and clarifying shampoo. I must say biotin b complex has SAVED my hair. I used to have the longest, thickest head of hair just 2-3 years ago and this shampoo has stopped the thinning/shedding & makes my hair so much thicker that it might just look like it used to in a few months...Only downside I can think of is that I finish the bottle fairly quickly (I have medium hair length) so I'm always reordering these! If you like it, you're better off ordering the three pack. Hope this helps anyone skeptical of the product, i know I was at first but now it's an essential.

I love this shampoo. Its light enough to use everyday and does a superb job getting your hair clean without stripping it of its natural oils. I also love that it contains natural ingredients because I don't like putting a bunch of stuff I can't pronounce into my hair. The natural ingredients might be why this shampoo works so well on my color treated hair. Overall, this is an excellent product and I won't switch to another shampoo any time soon.

I have very long hair that dries out easily toward the ends even when I use conditioner, but a scalp that tends toward oily, so it's tough to me to find a shampoo that works for both. I picked this up at the grocery store one day on a whim because it didn't contain some common shampoo ingredients that dry hair out badly, and now I'm hooked.

The smell is very nice, and I like that the concentration of the shampoo means I don't have to use a ton of it, but what really won me over is that when I use this, it leaves my hair and my scalp feeling very clean without feeling dried out. I've used all kinds of expensive salon products that did not achieve this, so I think this is a very good value for anyone with similar hair/scalp issues to mine.

I have very, very oily (asian) straight hair which I wash every day. When a shampoo is drying I can tell because at shoulder length suddenly I get this litter of one inch broken ends every time I brush. This shampoo is gentle enough for me to use every day. It doesn't leave any residue so I don't bother with clarifying shampoos. And the fragrance is wonderful and pretty intense while you are using it but washes clean so you're not committed to the scent all day. Not that I would mind...

The shampoo is also faintly more concentrated than others so you can back off a little when you apply.

This shampoo is made with organic lavender floral water. It is nourishing and can be used on all hair types. Herbal extracts and pure essential oils make this a luxurious shampoo that will help to cleanse your hair and scalp.

Mostly, I bought this due to the fact that it doesn't contain Sodium Laureth or Lauryl Sulfate.

This is the best natural thickening shampoo I have used. It leaves my hair feeling fuller and soft without being too soft. I am very pleased with this product. The only drawback is the smell. I think it smells like Pine-Sol floor cleaner. I will still continue to use this shampoo as it is the best I have found and is even better than salon shampoos.

My hair is so dry that I can only wash it once every 2 weeks. A friend gave me Avalon Organics Olive and Grape Seed shampoo and conditioner. I used them for the first time last Saturday. This shampoo made it soo silky smooth. I can't remember it every feeling this nice. It does a noticeably better job than the Pantene Pro V daily moisturizing shampoo and conditioner that I can no longer use. Wonderful stuff.

This product was recommended to me by a friend who went through a similar situation that I am now. I've no idea what caused my life time of a thick mane to suddenly want to start dropping out, and with all medical reasons exhasted finding no reason, I was simply at a loss. What I can tell you is how I felt from the first time I used this product, up until now, some nine months later. There were no miracles, (which I'd secretly hoped for) but for the first time my hair felt fuller again after the first use. Something I'd not felt in a long while. After about two months I felt confident enough to get my hair cut (something I'd avoided for some time as I needed the length to cover the bald patches). The balding spots have stopped and have re-generated hair. I do not proclaim this to be a direct result of this product, but I simply have no other reason than to attribute it my using this on a daily basis. My hair is now nearly back to it's original thickness (somewhat grayer...but that's my age and to be expected). I recently ordered my second bottle and will continue to use this product. As others have said, it cleanses the hair without stripping it, and leaves it feeling soft. I've no problem with scent, in fact I find it pleasant. My first bottle lasted five months, so if you break the cost down, it's basically less than $2.00 a month and that's pretty inexpensive. (I had medium length hair for the first couple of months, then shoulder length for the latter).

As a side note - I'd considered going back to my salon products and said so to my husband. He adamantly said to me, "Stay with what you have been using, your hair looks the best I've seen it in years."

This product smells great & cleans all of your hair while doing no damage to you, your ph balance, or the environment after it goes down teh drain!
It's made by all natural products too thus it works great!
I use only this until I find something better (which after 5 yrs has yet to happen)!
I recommend this to anyone!

This product will thicken your hair tremendously. My hair has medium body and it made it much fuller and healthier. The only downside to this product is it doesn't smell that great. Other than that it's a product I will use often. (even w/ the not so great smell)
