My benchmark is the Paul Mitchel Tea Tree shampoo, which is the most expensive but within seconds of using it you can feel the tingle in your scalp. And the aroma really helps to wake you up in the morning. The Avalon is less noticeable, but it is organic and made w/ few chemicals, which may contribute to the mildness. It cleans very well, just doesn't carry a pungent tea tree aroma or tingle.

Has a nice smell, doesn't get too soapy, doesn't dry my scalp out. I will buy more when I run out.

This conditioner is leaving my hair so soft and silky. And, it smells heavenly! This product is organic with awesome ingredients! Just check [...]. Remember there are no pesticides in here. I have long damaged hair from dyeing and bleaching and the hair dresser wants me to use Biolage, which I was using... but it has some strong ingredients that are irritating to me. I'm in heaven with my hair right now. 5 Stars!! Pretty bottle and fantastic smell, the conditioner is creamy and light and feels good in the palm and so tingly and refreshing in hair. Gets rids of gnarly tangles.

great product. I like to add extra tea tree oil to what is already there, about a tablespoon. Don't know why my hair is growing and so healthy, but this is my favorite shampoo.

After ordering this product, I finally received it 3 weeks later in a Priority Mail envelope that was leaking profusely. One bottle of shampoo (when 3 were specified) was in the envelope with no packaging save a plastic bag. When I talked to them, they said there was an error in the listing with Amazon, and that they were refunding me. I did get the refund, but the Post Office was more apologetic about the damaged package than they were.

I would not do business with this company again.
