I got this watch for my nephew. He wanted one beacuse his Papa always had a pocket watch. It is a very nice watch and has kept great time. Great price as well. He has had it for almost a year and it has been trouble free. AS always when I purchase through Amazon I know that I will receive excellent service from them.

I bought this little pocket watch for my 14-year-old. She loves it, and her friends admire it greatly. She reports it keeps time well.

My parents purchased this watch for my 19-year-old son, who is going away to college. He said he had always wanted a pocket watch. They wanted to give him something well-made and affordable, but not "heirloom" quality (you never know, with college kids, if it might end up in the wash or, I don't know, at the bottom of a beer stein).

He's only had it a few weeks, but it keeps good time and seems solid. It arrived quickly and in good condition.

The only problem is that, when someone asks him the time and he pulls it out of his pocket, the person says, "Oh, you're being pretentious!" So he says, "Why'd you ask the time, then, if you don't approve of my watch?"

This is a decent timepiece. I would consider getting another for one of my nephews....or as a replacement for my son's, if it ever falls into beer.

I have used several different pocket watches over the years, both mechanical and electric. I prefer the quartz movements for their accuracy and not having to wind them each day. I have been using this watch for three weeks. It has kept accurate time and seems to be dependable. The numbers are easy to read. I would recommend this watch.
