Initially I was impressed with the watch...seemed a good deal for the low price...watch looks nice...works fine...the compass seems to work fine. However, after opening the watch to look at the compass a few times over a few days...the latch that holds the watch closed gets a bit loose. So I find myself having to re-close the watch on a regular basis if I move my arms a bit too much.

So I guess you get what you pay for...

I have no problems with this watch. I was a little leery because of the bad review so I tried this watch and it worked fine. Because the compass is not liquid filled, it is hard to get an accurate reading unless you remove the watch and hold it level. Then it worked well for me and good enough for my needs (hiking and driving when lost with no gps).

I added this to my growing watch collection, the price was right, it looked attractive.
First, I had to add glue shut the ever swinging base that exposes the inaccurate compass.
It is still attractive, I wear it about one day per week, but that diminishing and it's sliding
down my favorites list.

it a good watch like the design.. on thing is watch head it is loose where the head meets the campus, and dose not lock. I used it on a survival band where para cord covers the edge.
