I purchased Registry Utilites: 1. It would not load on my computer.(XP Professional) 2. Avanquest was not helpful when I contacted technical support. They blamed my computer. 3. The box read "90 day money back guarantee" but when I tried to call customer support I got caught in an endless loop and was unable get through! 4. Fry's would not take a return!!

I have used products from Avanquest before and I was just as disappointed with them all! I have used the Fix-it Utilities from Avanquest in the past which never performed well at all, and you would think I would have learned by now...I got Registry Pro thinking that it might be a different story since it only concentrated on the registry. It seemed to do so-so at first but the more I used it the more it started to stop responding or failing to start, until it began to crash altogether! I finally ended up buying System Mechanic which appears to be a much much better program entirely...save what you might have spent on this program and invest it in a better quality program like System Mechanic!!

Product claims to fix registry errors, but every time you run it the same errors come up and you select repair again & again. To me thats not fixing them, it's only a temp fix. I was looking for something that would fix them for good!!!!
