This monthly newsletter is a valuable resource for any serious gardener, especially those who are interested in research going on around the country on growing techniques, new plants, special cultivars and horticultural advances. The newsletter, a compilation from various sources, is a plain-jane publication without pictures, ads, glitz or graphics--it is simply packed with useful information. My only complaint is that the staff, apparently a mom-and-pop operation, could use some proofreading (although their Latin is fine).

I have subscribed to this publication for years and years and years - too many to remember. It is the ONE PUBLICATION which I do not let lapse, nor do I give my old copies away ! You will find more information here than all other "fluff" type gardening mags combined. No pictures of course, but hey - you can look 'em up on the 'net if you want to see. Well worth every penny. I only wish the editors had a website, and a bit more modern approach to renewal (you need to be vigilant about when it expires).
