I'm not going to lie to you. This is my first ever review so if I mess up a little bit then please forgive me. First off, lemme say that Avatar: The Last Airbender is a great series for all ages! If you are into martial arts then it's perfect for you. Now to the nitty, gritty. This dvd is definitely one to add to you collection in the series. It's just my opinion of course. I don't like to tell much about shows and movies but I will tell you to watch the episode of when Team Avatar goes up against The Drill. That's the one that sold me. the fifth episode was great also. Just my opinion. You don't have to take my word for it. Just watch it and see for yourself.

My wife and I loved watching this series with our 17 year old daughter. Ya it's kind of campy and corny in spots, but the characters are very engaging and I really like the moral lessons.

I strongly recommend watching the series in order as they build off of each other.

I heard that they were going to make a live action movie based on this. I hope it happens!

The episodes are fantastic, but this DVD did NOT come with the third part of the comic as advertised... did anyone else have that issue with their DVDs? The first and second DVD of Season 2 came with the mini-comics, but not this one...

Now, originally I was going to rate this only 1 star, but then I figured I go down in history as the guy who rated Avatar anything below 4 stars. Don't get me wrong, I love the show. It has action, plot, comedy and romance (though I'm not so big on the last one.) It even has the unique quality of realism to it, by what I mean is that it follows the set of ground rules that was originally placed there. Plus, the bad guys get a victory every now and then.
The reason I was tempted to rate it 1 star was simply because I hate how they keep coming out with these individual DVDs. By the time Book 2 finally comes out on DVD as a set, the 3rd book will probably be half way through. I say ignore these individual volumes and go for the whole enchilada at the end. Still, until people stop buying them, we're just going to have to put up with these individual volumes for a little while longer.

This is One of the Best PG Anime series Ever. My daugher, who is a senior, was very upset when I gave away this set to my neices and nephews. She is now demanding that I buy her a new set. You cannot go wrong with this product. It is good for the young and old alike.

Don't you just love it when you find the story interesting, but have to buy the others to complete that story?

We find our four heros in conflict after the loss of Appa. The search for the sand people begins. It leads to a choise for Aang to make. This leads them on a wild adventure to Ba Sing Se. They meet old friends on the jouney. Zuko & Uncle Iroh meet up with Jet. Will their secret be safe as they travel to Ba Sing Se? Will the fire naton breach the earth kingdoms capitals wall? Where is Appa? Why is the avatar blocked from seeing the earth kindoms king? For these mysteries and other answers get Volumes 3 & 4 of book 2. Im sure you will enjoy it. Chapter 15 is ok but only adds a little to the story right at the end. Any more would give it away.Avatar The Last Airbender - Book 2 Earth, Vol. 3

I love this DVD. I could watch it again and again and never get tired of it. The only bad part was that it didn't come with a mini-comic. I love to see what's happening, but without the third part... Did anyone else have this problem? Anyway, a must buy!

I am about the bigggggggggggest Avatar fan you will meet. (My whole family is obsessed too! ) But I don't like how slowly the DVDs come out. I would advise, unless you're really rich, not to buy the separate dvds. Wait till CHristmas to get the box set. I REALLY am anxious for season 3. Maybe they're waiting for the season 2 dvds to be finished. cuz i know they're still working on it. well, i would give 4 stars, but then i'd kill myself for not writing the best about avatar! so, just wait folks. be patient! toodles!

still waiting for the entire second book to come out together, i'm sure it would be a better buy with bonus features, extras, ect.
