1.0 out of 5 stars A Bad Game, October 20, 2008
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Avatar: The Last Airbender-Into the Inferno (Video Game)
I had high hopes for this game. The first Avatar game was horrible, but 'Avatar Burning Earth' was a fun game and I had hoped that this game would be even better, but I was wrong. This game is designed for the Wii, but since the Playstation 2 controller is nothing like the Wii's, the players need to learn to use both joysticks on the controller at the same time (one joystick to guide the character and the other to guide their attacks). The characters are impossible to guide and attack with. The attacks are weak, and the enemies are almost invincible and numerous. There are no health tokens to prevent you from dying in the early levels of this game. The audio is messed up, if you get sound for one scene, then you probably won't get it for the following scene and vice versa. If your an Avatar fan, you may as well buy this game since its probably going to be the last Avatar game made for the Playstation 2, but if you're a gamer don't waste your money on this game.

1.0 out of 5 stars Another THQ Screw Up, August 30, 2011
A Kid's Review
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Avatar: The Last Airbender-Into the Inferno (Video Game)
Before I even talk about this "lovley" game,a warning to all gamers! BE CAREFUL WHEN GETTING THQ GAMES!!!!!! they can be decent like the Burning Earth,or they can be like this game!!Rent ,don't buy!! now on to the game.Lets start with the bad, shall we? First it didn't follow the story at all. If you're a hard core TLA fan don't get it! You will want to destroy the controller(belevie me,i know). the bending controls(on my ps2)were stupid. They didn't make any sense! Next, wich is a trademark of THQ, the whole game is about puzzles, puzzles, and more puzzles! And if I've said it once I've said it a 100,000,000,000,000,000 times...games are played to have fun and get dumb not to feel like your in school! I didn't even make it to the 3rd level;so i went online and got a cheat code that unlocked all the levels, and played some of the levels...didnt get past one of them except the last one.The firelord is not even challenging,Azula puts up more of a fight! all the other levels are unbeatible! Waaaaaayyyyy to many puzzles! The fighting is stupid! You can't pull any combos, can't do anything you could do in the burning earth,NOTHING as far as fighting. ok thats the bad now on to the decent(which there is not alot of).I thought the voices from the show was a good touch. The the sounds of everything was good. The earthbending use was ok.It had more of a practical use then everything else. The drop in drop out mode, which i love, was good.thats about it. overall this games was almost as bad as Shamalans screw up. My advise to you rent it if your a fan, by it if your not a fan.hope this helped. :)

3.0 out of 5 stars It's Okay, December 30, 2008

= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Avatar: The Last Airbender-Into the Inferno (Video Game)
If you are looking for the ultimate fun game, that's The Burning Earth, not this one. This one is more annoying than fun. You have to bend by using one analogue stick while moviing with the other. It's all about puzzles that really get frustrating. My sister and I finished in 3 days, The Burning Earth in two, yet Into the Inferno seemed shorter. Weird. They also messed with the storyline, adding things that weren't there and cutting out things that we thought were important (The Fire Bending Masters). Oh, Ozai in the end is the easiest battle in the entire game. If you are a huge Avatar fan, get it, but just to let you know, The Burning Earth is A LOT MORE FUN!
