Avatar is one of the earliest descriptions of the atmosphere of love and grace that surrounds Avatar Meher Baba. Jean Adriel performed an enormous service to the world by writing this book. It is clear, concise, and loaded with her own personal experiences, as well as those points researched by her. After more than fifty years, it is a classic, and while there are a few errors, her early endeavor did not give her the perspective and additional information we have today to work with, and we gladly forgive her. I am sure Meher Baba was well pleased with his spiritual daughter Jean.
