The bow and arrow set was bought to be part of a Holloween costume. The ends of the arrows have no feathers and no notch. The arrows cannot be shot. So this item is for show only.

In the description they stated the bow is "approximately 5 feet long" the bow is no where near that big, it's maybe 2 feet tall max. The look of it is fine, but a 6 foot guy carrying it just looks silly.

Wow! My daughter is a HUGE fan of Avatar, me too! This was the icing on the cake for her costume experience! We love it!

We bought this for our 4 year old who loves Avatar and was wanting a bow and arrow. The string part of the bow needs to be tighter, which I think you can untie it and make it tighter. Also, the arrows need little notches on the ends so as to help keep the arrows on the bow when getting ready to shoot them. My daughter does like it as it goes well with the Avatar costume.

My daughter got the Neytiri costume for Halloween and wanted the bow and arrow set to go with the costume. The bow was OK, string broke after a few weeks but I could easily replace it. The arrows were awful, they weren't even notched on the end to slide onto the string. I took a razor blade and heated it and melted a notch into the arrows so that they would work a little bit better. The suction tip was very small and would not stick to anything. I ended up ordering an additional set of arrows that worked much better but were not very durable.
