I use this 1 or 2 times per week depending on the season. It's fall here in MN so the hair tends to be very dry at this time and through the winter. I will probably use it twice a week until spring. I have a multi color foil done with aveda hair color and this protects and hydrates even my lightest blonde strands. I have recently darkened my hair to a carmely tone for fall and expect not to have to get another foil til the end of november or december 1st because of the effectiveness of this product. Enjoy!

I bought this product to help keep my colored hair from fading and to keep it from drying out. While it does do a great job, it leaves a film on my hair. If I use this before I style my hair, my hair feels a little dirty, like it's a day old. So I only use this about once or twice a week and when I don't plan on styling my hair. Most likely I will continue to buy because of Aveda's ethical standards.
