As someone with fine, thin hair, I haven't had great success with most hairspray products. They tend to be heavy, sticky, and have an artificial/chemical scent. A friend suggested I try this, and thankfully I did. It's just right for hair like mine. It gives my hair greater lift, shape and hold without weighing it down or looking too stiff. I can actually put a brush through my hair after I spray to touch up. The smell is light and natural. I only wish it came in a travel size, because I would like to have an extra handy at work and in my travel bag.

Likes: My Aveda salon, of course, introduced this hairspray to me. I have fine hair, so when I style it, I need something to hold well. (However, I don't use on a regular basis). This hairspray definitely gets the job done without all the sticky hold that normal, grocery store quality hairspray will give you. Plus, once you spray it, you can still work your fingers through your hair to use the spray to help arrange your hair. Also, it isn't made to have a fragrance; however, when you spray, you will smell it which is not a bad smell at all.

Dislikes:
1. Once your spray, it stays in the air for awhile. If you are in a narrow space and are sensitive, you will need to keep this in mind. Eventually it will settle, but be prepared to fan if you use a lot of this :)
2. The price. My gosh, I don't understand why hairspray has to cost over $20, but considering it is Aveda and works well, I could see paying more for it than regular spray. However, I hear that Redken also has a similar spray that isn't over $20. I will be looking into that. I guess it's a good thing I don't use hairspray on a daily basis, so it lasts longer. Ha!

This is an amazing hairspray! It adds texture without stickiness. The great thing about this product is that you can spray it all over your hair... mess it up... backcomb... then smooth back into a perfect style. I love the way that my hair feels every day!

I ran out last month, and replaced it with another cheap brand from our local pharmacy. I hated my hair EVERYDAY that I used it! Basically, my hair had no life. Blah!

Seriously, if you use hairspray on your style... this is the brand to choose! You won't regret it!
