I got this product because I am deployed in the military so I need something to keep my ponty tail style looking neat daily. After using it for about 3 weeks, I can say I actually like the product. The directions on the bottle says it can be use on dry hair but it is suppose to be used on damp hair. I only use it on dry hair. It did not work for me on damp hair. I pour about a dime size amount, rub my hands together and spread it through my hair when I am styling my hair into a ponty tail. It holds and keeps you hair from getting frizzy. It is also not too hard where you can not change into another style the next day. The best thing it aveda hold and does not flake.
