I have fine hair that doesn't have much body and this gives it body without weighing it down or plastering it down. YMMV, but it works for me.
I bought this on Amazon but actually from GOOD LOOKING DISCOUNTS. They shipped very quickly and even included a free gift of a product that I passed on to another family member.

This is a light liquid spritz that goes into your hair before blow drying or curling. It is NOT intended to produce curls but to produce body and volume. You may want some hairspray to set your style after blow drying/curling. As with all Aveda products a little goes a long way. Well with this particular product, a lot produces no further effect. Again as with all Aveda products the fragrance is light and pleasing. It won't last the day so no interference with your perfumes. It merely prevents the outraged grumbles of those standing within 7 feet of you when you do you hair.

I bought this product because I have straight fine hair but lots of it. It is supposed to make your hair thicker and it does. The only problem I had was that the bottle is too small and hard to dispense. Other than that I would recommend it.

I love Aveda products and I used this along with the Shampure and the volumizing shampoo. I didn't need to use a lot a get great volume and I have pretty fine hair. I will definitely be ordering this again.

This is wonderful serum and I have tried them all. Smells great, gives my hair lift and shine. I will never use anything else!

I think I finally have to admit that I love the thought of Aveda more than the reality. I have fine hair but I got no benefit from this product. No increased volume or body. Absolutely none. After trying it out for about three weeks (I didn't want to give up right away), I went back to Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Sculpting Foam 6.7 oz (190 g) which does make a difference in increased body and volume in my fine hair. This tonic didn't do anything other than smell good.
