5.0 out of 5 stars The only diaper rash ointment I'll use
This stuff is AWESOME. As a cloth-diapering mom, it is the ONLY diaper rash ointment I will use. With cloth diapers, all other diaper rash products containing zinc oxide also contain cod liver oil. Once cod liver oil gets into cloth diapers, it is a LOT of time and labor to get the fish smell out.

The zinc oxide in this product is not derived from cod...

1.0 out of 5 stars Contains parabens
I immediately stopped using this product when I learned the inactive ingredients included paraben. Parabens display estrogenic activity and are potentially cancer-causing. To be safe, I've switched my baby to Weleda diaper cream. I love the calendula, and it's organic.

The zinc oxide in this product is not derived from cod liver oil and therefore leaves no residue and no odor in our diapers. I love the fact that I can pronounce all the ingredients and that there are no chemicals leaching into my daughter's skin. She doesn't get diaper rash often, but when she does it's terrible. This stuff clears it right up, while Desitin, A&D and even Boudreaux's Butt Paste never did.

This review is from: Aveeno Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Fragrance Free, 3.7-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
I've been using the Aveeno Baby Diaper Rash Cream for several months now, and I love it! With my first baby I used the Burt's Bees Diaper Cream which I really liked. But at 9 bucks a pop it's kindof pricey. Anyhow, when I had my son I received the Aveeno cream as part of a gift and I fell in love with it! It's really smooth and creamy, thick, but spreads very easily. Almost like silk! It also works really well. I apply the cream with most diaper changes and my son never gets a diaper rash. Plus at $5.99 per tube, it's much more affordable than the Burt's Bees (and I actually like the Aveeno much better). The 3 pack from Amazon at just over $12 is a great price! I definitely recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Happy Mom, August 28, 2007
The best diaper cream ever! My son had a severe diaper rash and nothing seemed to work until I tried the Aveeno. It immediately started working and my son had no problems with me applying it, unlike the other creams I tried to use. The rash started looking better as soon as it was applied. I can not express enough how awesome this cream is!! A must for all moms!

1.0 out of 5 stars Hurts my little man when I apply it to a rash..., December 26, 2011

I think the title of my review is pretty much all I need to say. I decided to try this because I was tired of paying the high price of Dr Bourdeaux's...but he screamed when I put this on his rashed bum. It may be good as a protectant, but not as a healer for my little guy. :( Back to Dr Bourdeaux's....

1.0 out of 5 stars rash cream, August 19, 2011

My son had some diaper rash but after I applied this product, his diaper rash became worse. His skin started to peel off. It is extremely hard to apply and hard to wash off.
Not a good product! Will NOT buy this again.

I bought this for my newborn and have been using it every diaper change. I love that it doesn't smell and it is thick enough to stay in place, but smooth enough to go on easily. It has worked really well and he hasn't had any problems with diaper rash. I would definitely buy this again.

3.0 out of 5 stars More PASTELIKE than Cream - difficult to spread, March 12, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Aveeno Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Fragrance Free, 3.7-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
This cream has a very thick, paste-starch like consistency which makes it very difficult to spread over my baby's bottom. It does not seem to soften even with warm "massage" to spread it. It is very highly recommended for cure/ prevention of diaper rash, but I would prefer something somewhat thinner or more lotion like. I have found that sitting the tube in very warm water somewhat softens the paste and makes it easier to use.

3.0 out of 5 stars Made cloth pocket diapers repel, August 25, 2009
By
We cloth diaper and tried this cream out to combat a bad rash my daughter broke out with after eating citrus fruits. It sticks to the skin well and went on easy, I like that it's in a tube. However after a couple weeks of using this our pocket diapers repelled! It was a huge chore trying to strip them so I advice anyone who uses pocket diapers to stay far away.
