Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo Lightly Scented 8 oz.

I bought this shampoo because I really like the Aveeno baby body wash that I use on my two girls. But, the scent is sooo strong! Most Aveeno baby products have a light, almond-y scent. But, this is very perfume-y. I can't stand it. I wish that I could send it back--because I won't use it again.
With that said, their hair looks and feels wonderful. If it didn't have the scent, I would be raving about this shampoo.

With the Johnson & Johnson's chemical issues we needed to change shampoo and while this product is also made my J&J it doesn't have the possible cancer causing chemicals in it. I really like the smell of this shampoo and it rinses really easily from my sons hair.

For being a moisture shampoo, it sure didn't moisturize my sons scalp. In fact it dried it out a little more then the stuff we just switched from. But since it makes his hair clean and fixes some of his unruly fluff, I am sticking with it and hoping the dry scalp is partially due to winter or the product being left in his hair for a little too long.

This shampoo is perfect for baby fine hair that will not stay down. It smells very nice. Much better than Johnsons.

Our daughter is three, and this stuff is ideal for her hair (pin straight, mix of very fine to med-thick) and habits. First, it sudses nicely and rinses easily. A faint scent, but nothing chemically fake-smelling or overpowering. The conditioner makes combing a breeze. We try to wash her hair every third or fourth day, and when we can go that long, it stays clean-looking, so I know the conditioner isn't too much. When we have to shampoo daily (for most of the summer, really), it's not drying. Perfect moisture to cleanser ratio. Highly recommend.

I love Aveeno products for my little one. I did notice, she is starting to get a little cradle cap though, but I have cradle cap lotion that helps remove it and moisturize that I will use this week. Not sure if it is from the shampoo or if she would get it anyway. That is the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars... but I'm not even sure if it's from the shampoo!

We were given a bottle of this to try as part of a bzzcampaign. When I first opened it I really liked the smell. It's fresh scent is not to overpowering. I'd even use it in my own hair. It lathers up really easily and you don't need to use much at all. It is tear free which is a must with small children. I used it on my 11 month old and cleaned and conditioned her hair really well. I will definately be purchasing more.

I received a free sample of this shampoo as part of a BzzCampaign from [...] and was thrilled with it. I had been looking for a shampoo I could use on both of my daughters: one is almost 4 and the other is 21 months old. The gentle, no tear formula works great for my youngest daughter. It is also really easy to rinse out of her hair. My oldest daughter has longish hair and I have had a bit of trouble with combing out tangles. This shampoo really seemed to help reduce the number of tangles and made combing her hair a lot less traumatic. I also love the very mild scent of this shampoo. I really don't like overpowering scents and find this shampoo to be very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it!

I have a 2.5 year old little boy who like other babies and toddlers absolutely hates to have water poured on his head. I got to try this baby shampoo via Bzz Agent and I'm so happy I did!

I like the light scent of the shampoo and I absolutely love how easily it rinses out. I don't have to pour water over his head for very long and that makes bath time a little easier and as you know, a little bit more ease during a bath is HUGE! It may not be a big deal if he'd let me cover his face somehow but he won't so I'll take what I can get!

This is definitely worth trying, especially if you have a little one like mine! The scent is nice and baby-like and that's a good thing!

A little background: I have 4 children ages 7 weeks- 6 years old. They all have sensitive skin and usually deal with mild eczema in the winter. We have always had to switch to "fragrance free" soaps that have no chemicals in the during the winter months and sometimes during the summer.

I was given the chance to review this product as a BzzAgent and fell in love with it! Not only is it mild enough to keep their skin from drying out or breaking out but it also softens their skin and smells great!

All in all I love this baby shampoo and would recommend it to anyone who has a baby with sensitive skin!
