My 19mo old daughter has the absolutely driest, eczema prone skin I think I've ever seen in a small child. And she gets it from her mommy (Me). If you can think of it I've tried it. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! Nothing works as long as this does and keeps her skin moisturized as well as this stuff. I recommend this product to any and everyone that has any form of dry skin. IT REALLY WORKS. My daughter doesn't have breakouts anymore and it got rid of ALL the dry patches in just a couple days of use. It has worked wonders! I'm very pleased and have absolutely NO complaints!!!! :-)

Aveeno cream is nice to use and it works miracles. it releived me of my dry skin in the face. if i use it in the morning before leaving for work. it stays as it is till the evening leaving my skin so fresh and good. I highly recommend this product.

This is an excellent moisturizing cream. I prefer the version that is non-mentholated but the menthol in this cream is very light and so it isn't really an issue. If you have very dry skin this is definitely a cream you should try.

I am allergic to something in the Aveeno facial products so I was hesitant to try anything else in their line. Funny how a case of poison ivy can force you back to the lotion aisle with an open mind. I dislike sloppy lotions and hoped a cream would have staying power. This cream is a thicker, soft paste consistency product that smoothes on easily, absorbs completely and is essentially unscented. You can smell a slight hint of the menthol when you first apply it but that vanishes within 30 seconds. Its not sticky so its great overnight. Its also super for all day comfort despite the abuse heaped upon my skin from camping and gardening. This is the first product that didn't just mask my dry, itchy skin for a few hours. My skin actually looks and feels better now than it has in years. Even Aquaphor overnight (the dematologist's 'cure') didn't have the impact that this product has had. I highly recommend it.

This is the best moisturizer I have found for my sunparched extremely dry skin. Great product.

My son was diagnosed with eczema around 6 months old and we battled with it for a couple years. Finally I tried this product and it was amazing! He finally stopped scratching!! No other product has worked so well. Aveeno's ingredients paired with the menthol (which is the key for itch relief) is PERFECT!! It's not really greasy and it smooths the skin pretty quickly. Make sure you apply it (like any lotion/cream) immediately after bathing and after gently drying skin to allow for maximum absorption. THANK YOU AVEENO FOR THIS INCREDIBLE PRODUCT! My son (and family) can finally sleep through the night without waking up to the sound of a scratching kid and that is PRICELESS!!

This cream works where other, much higher-priced ones do not. It heals dry, itchy, flaky skin in a few days. The only (minor) downside is that it leaves your skin a little sticky.

Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing products are great, as is most of the Aveeno line, but for some the 'cooling' menthol in this one actually makes their skin feel warmer and somewhat uncomfortable for a time.

My daughter has Fifth's Disease (similar to measles, but common and not life-threatening) which is caused by a virus that is very common in daycare and elementary school settings. The virus can cause a low grade fever, sore throat, etc..., but the tell-tale sign of 5ths is super-red cheeks. They look like they've been slapped! Red, itchy rash is usually soon to follow and it may last for weeks. By the time the skin stuff arrives, they are no longer contagious, which is good as when you see it you start to itch too!

I bought this product to soothe her skin after using the Aveeno oatmeal (Soothing) bath. While she likes the bath, she's not crazy about this product. The menthol makes her skin feel warm instead of cool, which is something that she never complains about with menthol based rubs when I put them on her chest when she has a cold - to clear her nasal passages. She does agree that this product does help with reducing the itch, but I'm not sure if it's the active ingredient: dimethicone 2.5%, or the other assorted moisturizers?

A relatively thin moisturizer, it says on the container not to apply more than 3 to 4 times a day. I wonder what would happen if you did? It also warns not to get it into your eyes, and if swallowed...to contact Poison Control immediately.

Maybe some aloe vera gel is safer?

I have scoured and tested many creams but so far none can beat this moisturizing cream from Aveeno. It is not too heavy and lasts the entire day. The menthol is not overpowering and leaves a refreshing clean feeling plus stops the terrible itch for even chronic eczema sufferers. A real god-send and I've just stock-piled a year's supply :)

My daughter has eczema. She even gets it on her face, making her face look raw sometimes. After 2 days of using this cream, her face is no longer raw and her skin color has evened out a lot. And the rough and itchy blotches on her body are gone. Now, she can go swimming in the pool and I don't have to worry about her skin withstanding the harsh chlorine. I don't know what they put in this cream, but it works even better than steroid creams!
