I've never met an Avenger I didn't like. This dvd is no exception. The quality of the dvd is good. It arrived on time. No skips, no pauses, no complaints.

5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD SHOW JOHN October 14, 2000
The TV Show is better than the Movie
I never knew that "The Avengers" was a TV show. After seeing some of the episodes a lot of things in Sean Connery's movie version come together. I see what they were trying to do in the film, but they could not pull it off. The TV show has much more style and wit. It's even kind of moody. Great music by Laurie Johnson. Excellent series all around. They should put the movie in the boot with the spare tire.

5.0 out of 5 stars You Scratch my Back I Will Scratch Your Back October 13, 2000
John and Emma are back and are here to stay via DVD technology. Being on DVD, the aesthetics about the actual episodes are not in question here. More appropriately one may ask how they look. They look good, very good. If you relish a series like "The Avengers" or "Twilight Zone" you no doubt know about the content of what you are getting. You are more likely concerned about the quality of what you are getting. Like John might say to Emma, "You scratch my back I'll scratch your back."
