Have friends who have paid $70+ for adjustable stems. This one was an incredible value for [...]!!!! It appears to be well made...the machining and finish are very nice.All of the adjustment mechanism is internal and infinitely adjustable as opposed to the click-stop types. It isn't excessively heavy. The only thing is that it doesn't have indexing....but turns out that doesn't matter at all for me. The polished aluminum is hard to find these days in the trend-world of black ( because black painted products are cheaper to manufacture...hence greater profit margins?) I definately recommend this stem.
