I bought one of these since it was cheap and also bough a couple of Incedibells. Since I was putting this on my mountain bike and would hardly ever use it, it serves its purpose. However for my road bike I used the Incedibell. It cost more but had a better installation setup and sounded clearer.

Avenir Universal Bell tends to slip and is a little awkward to ring. Ringing sound is adequate, but could be better. Actually, I would rate this as fair.
