5.0 out of 5 stars Great tool, December 7, 2008

Works great; heat treated steel, rotating plunger seat, small size for that crowded toolbox. Use with 8mm hex bit or allen wrench. Also has wrenching flats but the hex drive works better.

5.0 out of 5 stars simple tool, does the job, October 18, 2008
This review is from: Avenir Octalink Crank Puller (Sports)
so far I have taken off 5 cranks (that's 10 crank arms), no problem.
Trying to do this job without a crank puller is a disaster.
One of the cranks I took off was covered with rust (inside and out). When I was taking it apart, the solid layer of rust ripped apart. Nevertheless, the tool took it off easily.

5.0 out of 5 stars cheap crank puller, January 11, 2011

Why pay 50$ to a bike shop to screw up your bike when when you can do it yourself for a fraction of the cost??? A serious biker will know how (or should know) how to take their bike apart and this tool is a MUST!
