Another review stated these pedals are "same quality as you can buy at K-Mart." WRONG. These are MUCH BETTER than ones from a big box store. The ones from a big box store are 100% resin...even the shaft or threads that screw into the crank. These pedals have a steel shaft that won't break. These pedals came stock on my Raleigh Mojave 2.0 All Terrain bike. Hey - I'm old, fat & out of shape...but trying to get back to an acceptable weight. If they'll withstand my weight, they'll withstand anything you can dish out.

When I first bought these a few months back, they were great. Cheap price, seemingly sturdy, great feel when riding. Unfortunately, I ended up breaking these also. Same right pedal that I broke as the original pedals that came with my bike. I am just over 200 lbs, and I saw the other reviewer who said if he can't break them, no one can. Apparently he was wrong. YMMV, so if you think you're not too hard on your pedals then these should be more than good for you. I guess I put too much torque down on my right foot...
